CABINET MAKING
The Crowther & Sons team includes skilled cabinet makers working in a purpose-built cabinet makers' workshop adjacent to their Lincoln upholstery workshop. Highly skilled cabinet makers can restore turned legs to their original beauty and antique frames to full strength before they are re-upholstered, as well as design and produce individual frames and bespoke items of furniture, including bookcases, tables, dining chairs and cabinets.
Contemporary Design
Crowther & Sons create contemporary furniture to meet a wide range of customers' needs - from single chairs, tables and desks through to large built-in structures including kitchens, bookshelves and bedroom furniture.

Antique Furniture Restoration
The Crowther & Sons cabinet makers are experienced in carrying out complete restorations of fine antique and period furniture, from minor repairs, through to structural restorations, including the complete dismantling and re-building of chests of drawers, tables, dressers and bureau, finishing with traditional French polishing, re-creating the original patina and character of the piece.
With upholstered furniture, restoration to the frame is completed, before the item is passed on to the upholsterers who re-upholster with traditional materials consistent with the period of the item.
